I’m really pleased to be joining the Citizens Advice Doncaster team, supporting people experiencing hardship in our community.
Before joining the team, I worked as a Community Organiser with Doncaster Foodbank (Trussell), supporting the campaign for the newly opened day centre for people experiencing homelessness. Working closely with a lived experience team reinforced my commitment to community‑led change and the importance of accessible, compassionate support.
In this role, I’ll be working with DMBC and partners across the VCFS sector to improve how people move through the homelessness system and to build stronger connections between organisations. A core part of the work involves gathering insight from both services and people with lived experience, focusing on groups including:
- People rough sleeping or with experience of rough sleeping
- Individuals in temporary or supported accommodation
- People at risk of homelessness
- Migrants, refugees, and those with NRPF
- Young people experiencing homelessness
This insight will help identify pressures, gaps, and opportunities for improvement across Doncaster.
I’m keen to connect with partners to understand emerging issues and trends. Your perspectives will play an important role in shaping future priorities and strengthening the support available to people facing homelessness.
Outside of work, I enjoy music, shopping, spending time with friends and being outdoors, especially going on walks with my dog. You’ll probably hear me mention him quite a lot!
